Also! As Rose said, I’m entering this contest, because I should make a list of all my summer knitting goals and doing it while entering a contest at the same time sounds good.

Summer knitting goals:

1) Sockapalooza socks (still hemming & hawing over pattern)
2) Dress for June using Beach yarn from Seed Stitch
3) A couple of hats for June for next year from Itty Bitty Hats
4) Learn to read charts
5) Learn to knit Fair Isle (Endpaper Mitts)
6) Sweater for June (Dream in Color cardigan — I first saw this on Tipper’s blog. She mentioned she purchased it from Coldwater Collaborative, so I emailed them a couple weeks ago and they allowed me to order the kit which is now on it’s way! I also just saw that the Harlot has completed one herself! Tipper, you were way ahead of the curve!)
7) Begin either the Chevron Scarf or Clapotis (I know, both such original choices) in hopes of it being done for fall.

I need to find Marshall a little swimsuit…he has one with a flotation device in it! But I don’t think it’s removable I like the sunscreen/wetsuit type ones that I’ve seen online, but he does have some swimsuit shorts…

i like the face shes making where her toes are in the wet mucky sand… shes kind of like, “eeew dad, what the crap is this poo you are sticking my feets in?” (she said feets instead of feet because that sounds like a word someone learning to talk would say)
